加国三月份食品价格指数再度下降
加拿大3月的通货膨胀率随着食品价格连续6个月的下降而回落，年通胀率跌至1.6%，低于经济学家1.8%的预计，也低于中央银行的通胀率目标。与去年同期相比，食品价格下降1.9%，服装下跌0.9%。然而，与之相抵的是高油价所带来的4.6%交通费用上涨。
Canada inflation cooled in March as food prices dropped for the sixth month in a row. The annual inflation fell to 1.6 per cent, exceeding the 1.8 percent decline forecasted by economists and pulling away from central bank’s target. Food prices were down 1.9 per cent on year-over-year basis, and clothing costs declined by 0.9 per cent; However, the price decline was offset by a 4.6 per cent increase in transportation costs, due to higher prices of gasoline.
