多伦多测速相机已发出5万多张罚单

 

 

（大中报/096.ca讯）：根据CP24的报道，从2020年7月初启用以来，多伦多市府在市内学校附近安装的50个专门抓超速的摄像机在去年的第一轮使用过程中，这个ASE（Automated Speed Enforcement）项目就对很多违规司机发出了5万多张罚单。

 

1月15日周五，多伦多市府公布的数字，在去年7月6日至11月30日的所谓第一轮使用过程中，不到5个月时间，已发了53,090张罚单。

 

市长庄德利表示，“ 我认为这个方法可行。其实政府的用意是让这些机器不要发出告票，这就意味着人们没有超速。”

 

超速罚单数量逐月减少

市府官员表示，看来50台摄像机还是很有威慑力，该项目开始启动以来，从7月份到11月份呈现逐月减少的趋势：

·7月6日到8月5日，发出22,301张超速罚单；

·8月6日到9月5日，发出15,175张超速罚单；

·9月6日到10月6日：9,719张罚单；

·10月7日到10月31日：5,174张罚单；

·11月1日到30日：721张罚单。

 

市府官员表示，10月31日之后，这些设备被转移到新的位置，因此在新的地点，也即从11月1日至30日，只发出了721张罚单。

 

伊陶碧谷一台机器发最多及最贵罚单

根据市府公开的信息，在这50台机器中，其中一台位于多伦多西区伊陶碧谷中区（Etobicoke Centre）的一台机器竟然发了5,404张罚单，超过全市罚单总数的1/10；这个位置是在近Lafferty Street的Renforth Drive上。

 

这台摄像机不仅最“辛苦”，发出了最多罚单，而且超速也最严重：该地区限速为40km/h，但有司机超速一倍，把车开到了80km/h。

 

同样是这部摄像机，不仅抓到了最多违规司机，而且发出最贵罚单，最高罚款是$718元，为全市所有罚单之最。

有一名司机在士嘉堡重复违规高达17次

市府通告指出，在第一轮使用中，有5,822张罚单涉及重复违规，重犯最高的地点是士嘉堡北Crow Trail与Bradstone Square交界处，违规两次的司机超过600人次。有1名司机，共接获17张告票。

 

同一辆车在同一地点，或者说被同一摄像机抓到次数最多的高达17次，该违规司机也接到17张告票，而这部摄像机则位于士嘉堡中区（Scarborough North）Crow Trail与Bradstone Square地区。

 

今春50台机器将换位置

市长庄德利表示，“这些设备每三到四个月就会搬一次家，这样就可以让城市其它地区的居民也能关注这个问题。”

 

市府官员表示，在今年春季，所有摄像机将被移到新的位置。而且，在每个新的地点，也会安装醒目的标牌，以引起司机们注意。选址主要是社区内的安全区，例如学校附近。
